What drives the price of an app?
Scope matters most: how many screens, which user roles and how many flows the first version needs. A catalog with a cart and an app with chat, video and subscriptions are very different jobs, even if both are "just an app".
- Platforms. I build iOS and Android from one React Native codebase — close to half the cost of two native apps. Huawei, web and desktop are added as separate milestones.
- Payments and subscriptions. In-app purchases, web checkout, trials and cross-platform access sync are a separate block of work.
- Backend and admin. Database, admin panel, CRM, maps, delivery — everything that ties the app to your business.
- AI. If the product uses AI, the model, request volume and your data all affect the price.
- Design. Have mockups — I build from them. No mockups — I design the UI myself or bring in a designer.
How much does an MVP cost and what is included?
An MVP is the smallest version that tests the idea with real users. It holds only the core flow, for example "upload a photo → get a result → subscribe". Everything else comes once you have users and data.

How can you save on app development?
- Start with an MVP. V1 holds only what tests the idea.
- One codebase. React Native instead of two native teams.
- Proven services. Firebase, RevenueCat, Sentry — no rebuilding what already works.
- Pay per milestone. You pay for a finished milestone after a demo and can stop at any point.
How does payment work?
I work under a contract. The project is split into milestones, each with its own price and date. There is no full prepayment: every milestone ends with a demo and a sign-off. I accept RUB, USD and EUR, whichever way suits you.

Can an app cost less than $2,000?
Sometimes, if it is a very simple flow without payments or a backend. Describe the task — the estimate is free and I will tell you honestly what it costs.
How much is support after release?
Support is agreed separately: updates for new iOS and Android versions, new features and fixes. I stay reachable after launch.
Do I need a written spec?
No. Describe the idea on a call and I will draft the v1 feature list myself.
